TECHNICIAN

The technician performs routine and preventative maintenance to protect the facilities of the hotel and to keep the hotel running smoothly. The technician repairs defects, detects leaks and assists where necessary. It is his job to ensure a safe, high-quality hotel experience that improves guest satisfaction.

Tasks

  • Together with a team of technicians responsible for four hotels.
  • Repairs in the hotel rooms, conference rooms and public areas.
  • Small renovation work (wallpapering, painting, etc.).
  • Knowledge of electricity and plumbing.
  • Make a diagnosis in the event of system malfunctions and repair the defective parts.
  • Follow up stocks, determine shortages and place orders.

Profile

  • Fluent Dutch both orally and in writing. Other languages ​​are an added value
  • Flexibility in terms of timetables
  • Variable work schedule, 38-hour week, 5-day week
  • Weekend work (2 weekends out of 4 at home)
  • Day hours with changing evening permanence
  • Porterage service
  • Very accurate with an eye for detail
  • Go-getter
  • Stress resistance: being able to work under pressure
  • Experience is a plus, but motivated school-leavers are also eligible
