Room Attendant
A room attendant is responsible for maintaining the good reputation of the hotel by providing high-quality service and upholding impeccable room standards. The main responsibilities include cleaning and servicing rooms and public areas. A room attendant works in the Housekeeping department which comprises of a team of room attendants, a few floor supervisors and a departmental manager.
Front-office Employee
The front-office employee is the face of the hotel. You are responsible to offer the guests a warm welcome during their stay, from their arrival to their departure. You complete the necessary formalities, provide information, answer phone calls. Together with the other front-office employees you are led by the shift leaders who in turn report to the front-office manager.
Technician
The technician performs routine and preventative maintenance to protect the facilities of the hotel and to keep the hotel running smoothly. The technician repairs defects, detects leaks and assists where necessary. It is his job to ensure a safe, high-quality hotel experience that improves guest satisfaction.
Sous-Chef
As the chef’s right hand you are partly responsible for the proper functioning of the kitchen where excellent and consistent quality is a priority. The main tasks are to prepare a good mise en place, to finish the dishes during the service and after the service you are responsible for leaving the kitchen clean. You monitor the HACCP standards throughout this process. The sous chef works with the kitchen team under the supervision of the chef. The kitchen works closely together with the restaurant team.
Restaurant & Bar Manager
The restaurant & bar manager is responsible for managing the F&B outlets in close cooperation with and reporting to the operations manager. The focus is on the proper organization of the restaurant, bar and room service. In addition to coaching and motivating the team members, you also actively participate in the service. As a true host, you are constantly attentive to the wishes of the guests and you guarantee a guest-friendly, high-quality service.
Assistant Housekeeping Supervisor Internship
As an intern at Dukes’ Hotel Collection you end up in a dynamic, family hotel group where multiple activities take place at the same time. During your housekeeping internship you act as an assistant to the Housekeeping Supervisor within a quality four or five star hotel. You are responsible for the administrative and operational support of the housekeeping department within the hotel.
Front-Office Internship
As an intern at Dukes’ Hotel Collection you end up in a dynamic, family hotel group where multiple activities take place at the same time. During your front-office internship you act as as host / hostess within a quality four or five star hotel. You are responsible for the administrative and operational support of the front-office department within the hotel.
